Show Your Paw Pride at BLE Field Day

BLE Field Day is a great time to show school spirit, try something new, laugh with friends and enjoy a day of outdoor activity.  This year’s Field Day will feature:

-   An Olympic theme

-   Nine activities in the back of the school

-   Free-play and three group games in the front of the school

-   Opening ceremonies and class parade

-   Closing medal ceremony

Class Colors:

To help coordinate the day’s events, each grade is asked to wear a shirt in a specific color, corresponding with an Olympic ring:

There is a water games area – so plan on your child getting wet during the day.

Schedule:

To help you schedule your participation, here are some key event times for Field Day:

9-9:30 am: opening ceremony for all grades

Grades K-2

-   Front of the school:  9:30 am - 12:15 pm

-   Back of the school:  1:05 – 3:15 pm (closing ceremony at 2:50 pm)

Grades 3-5:

-   Back of the school:  9:30 - 11:15 am

-   Front of the school:  12:30 – 3:25 pm (closing ceremony at 2:50 pm)

 June 1 is Field Day– rain or shine.  In case of lightning, an alternate indoor event
