Hello!

My name is Mrs. Debra Mitchell and I am the
ESL parent contact for Pine Knob Elementary. 

 My husband and I moved from Florida to Clarkston 22 years ago and all three of my children graduated from Clarkston High School. 

I have worked for Clarkston Schools for 17 years.  During these years I have worked as a Kindergarten and 1st Grade Aide, Reading Aide and Special Education Paraprofessional.  This is my second year as an ESL aide. 

Pine Knob Elementary's ESL Department supports
English Language Learners to ensure that they are able to navigate our challenging curriculum, while moving
toward proficiency in English. 
 
I am at PKE on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings supporting Kindergarten through 5th grades.  Monday and Friday I am at North Sashabaw Elementary.
